Bring the fight to Lansing!
SOS Michigan - MASA/MASB Legislative Day Rally

WHEN: Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 1:45 p.m.
WHERE: March from the Lansing Center to the Capitol

March to the State Capitol and hear a call to action from Chair of the SOS! Task Force Tom White. Attendees will have the opportunity to march from the Lansing Center to the State Capitol where a rally for school funding will commence. Afterward, attendees will have the opportunity to lobby legislators in the Capitol (tentative - depending on session schedule).

Michigan's funding crisis is having a dramatic impact on schools. While most have individually fought to keep
their share of the funding pie, school districts can no longer afford to go it alone. Michigan schools must have
common messages to survive. MSPRA has joined forces with the SOS (Save our Students, Schools, State)
committee to present a valuable workshop that will help schools better communicate the impact of this crisis to
its publics.
